LOW-E glass

A type of energy-efficient glass that is coated with a thin layer of metal or metallic oxide, which reduces the amount of ultraviolet and infrared light that can pass through it. This helps to keep a building cool in the summer and warm in the winter, reducing energy consumption and costs. Low-e glass is commonly used in windows, skylights, and doors for both residential and commercial buildings to improve thermal insulation, reduce glare, and protect interiors from UV rays. It can be combined with other types of glass like laminated, tempered and tinted glass to provide added safety and security.
